Pastor Jeff

Jeff Kneice is the Founder and Senior Pastor of Joy Christian Church.  Pastor Jeff was saved and graduated from Otterbein College in 1982.  He has been in ministry since 1984 and has served in various capacities of ministry such as a youth pastor for fourteen years, an assistant pastor for four years, and has been on various boards of ministries teams.  Pastor Jeff has traveled extensively ministering at camps, retreats, and conferences.  He has a great love for missions and discipleship along with a deep desire to reach out to our community, nation, and world.  Most importantly, Pastor Jeff is deeply in love with the Lord Jesus Christ and is completely committed to God's Word!  Pastor Jeff lives in Westerville with his precious wife, and best friend, Jennifer and their three children, Jordyn, Johnathan, and Joshua.

What We Believe

• At Joy Christian Church we believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, authoritative Word of God and divine revelation of Jesus Christ, God's Son.
• We believe there is one God - eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
• We believe that Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, was born of a virgin, crucified, died and was buried; was resurrected from the dead, ascended into heaven, and is now seated at the right hand of God and is true God and true man.
• We believe salvation is a gift of God and is providing solely by His grace through faith in Jesus Christ.  We believe that by turning from sin in repentance, looking to Christ and His vicarious death and resurrection, man is born anew into eternal life.
• We believe in water baptism and in the baptism of the Holy Spirit as distinct from the New Birth.  We believe in the manifestation of His infilling by the evidence of speaking in other tongues as the Holy Spirit gives utterance.  We believe in the gifts of the Spirit, and the evidence of the fruit of the Spirit.
• We believe in the total substituionary sacrifice of Jesus.  He was made sin that we might be made righteous.  We believe that divine healing is provided for in the Atonement of Jesus Christ and is the privilege of every believer.
• We believe in the second coming of Jesus Christ and that we are members of His Body and shall reign together with Him.
